A French 75, as per The Art of Bar by the mixologists of Absinthe, San Francisco:
French 75
+ 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
+ 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
+ 1 1/2 oz gin (I used Hendricks)
+ Champagne
+ cherries or lemon twist for garnish
Directions: Fill a collins glass with ice, add the gin, lemon and simple syrup and stir. Top with champagne.MMMMM I need this
